According to cops this week, a 17-year-old boy was choked and knocked out by a stranger during a fight on a Queens train. The teenager was taking a subway to Manhattan. The train had stopped at the Far Rockaway station at 3:50 p.m. When the man approached him on November 9, they got into a heated argument, police said.
Officials say the suspect, who they think is between 30 and 40 years old, choked the teen and made him lose consciousness. Although the victim was able to get off the train, the attacker stayed on and hadn’t been caught by Wednesday. Officers said the teen was taken to the hospital with minor injuries and is in stable condition.
According to a photo shared by the NYPD on Tuesday night, the suspect is bald and has light skin. On his last sighting, he was wearing an orange shirt and boots. The boy, 17, was choked by a guy thought to be between 30 and 40 years old during a fight on a Queens train, according to police.

Authorities say an 18-year-old woman was slashed at a Midtown subway stop this week in a separate incident. The woman was using a northbound It was around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at the 42nd Street-Port Authority Bus Terminal station that she got into a fight with a guy and a woman, according to police.
Officers say that one of the defendants cut her arm during the fight. After being taken to Mount Sinai West, the person’s situation was stable. According to police, the suspects were last seen on the northbound platform and were shown in pictures shared by the NYPD late Tuesday.
Officers said the woman they were looking for had light skin, was slim, and stood about 5 feet 5 inches tall. Wearing a black hooded jacket over a gray hooded sweater, gray sweatpants, black sneakers, and carrying a gray bookbag are the last things that were seen of her.
